Waiting For Morning To Come by.  Being As An Ocean WOW! It has been two months since my last post, and man has it   has been a hectic couple of months that included the internet being out at my house, moving to a new house, a hurricane hitting home, taking a road-trip to Lubbock and back, and finally getting the internet back at my house. Now that all is settled I can get back into a routine of writing my music review blogs. Only this time I will only be doing one a week, along with a vlog of the review. Sorry that I only have this one but I was involved in some volunteer stuff at my church this week, working with the youth group doing several service projects and having fun. In today's blog I will be covering a group that I had previously thought I would not get the opportunity to. The group I am talking about is GRITS, a Christian Hip-Hop/Rap group that has recently released new music for the first time in seven years. That of course is their EP "Saints & Sinners" and the title track off of which I will be reviewing in this blog. Having been a fan of theirs for the longest time I am excited to get this review underway. But I had one little setback in the lyrics department. In this review I will be covering the brand new single from "Fall Out Boy"  called "Champion".  The track was released on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 and is the second single from the bands next studio album called "Mania".  The track continues on the evolution of the bands sound. Becoming a little more pop, and a little less rock/pop-punk. The band has been slowly bringing in this evolution of their sound for about four years now. Ever since 2013's "Save Rock'n Roll" . In this one we will get back to artist/song/album reviews. The track for this one is a fresh one called "Virus" by a band named Memphis May Fire. This band has been one of my faves for the longest time now and after their album "This Light I hold" that was released back in October of 2016 I have been curious as to what direction the band was going to go in.
