We finally have a new single from the boys in Silent Planet! This coming from their third album that has yet to be titled. I am seeing a clear pattern with Solid State Records. Fit For A King , and Earth Groans have released singles. And you can find my reviews on both of those linked below with my social media links. They have yet to release their album titles or release dates for them. Makes me wonder what kind of awesome things the producers, Solid State, and bands have in store for us in the coming months! I know it was supposed to be up Saturday but things got a little crazy and here it is today. The latest edition of my Music Review Blog  series. This edition covers the latest single from the Christian Metalcore band Fit For A King . The single is called "Tower Of Pain" . This was released the same days as Convictions latest album. Like that album I was instantly in love with it! This is the first single they have released since their release of Deathgrip and is the first single off of their upcoming fifth studio album. In this issue we have one of my most anticipated albums of the year. Hope For The Broken , by the Christian Post-Hardcore/Metalcore band Convictions from Fremont, OH . An Author, A Poet  Local Music Spotlight 05/22/2018 _______________________________________________ And we're finally back in to the Local Music Spotlight blog series! And man it has been too long! But we're back nonetheless and I am ready to be spotlighting bands from the Houston area! And this week we have the Galveston Island boys in An Author, A Poet . The band is a five piece Alternative Hardcore act made up of Brandon Talley ,  Jake Gottlob ,  Michael Romero ,   Joeseph Kuykendall , and  Bryce Bucks . they bring about a presence to the stage that can easily be liked by anyone.
