I met up with these guys before their set this past Saturday at Walter's downtown in Houston, TX. Jonah The Runner and More! Walters - 05/27/2017 Welcome to another installment of my concert blogs. In this one I will cover three bands that performed last Saturday. These three are Far From Home, Morals, and Jonah The Runner. The later of which I did an interview with and you will be able to catch that in both video and blog form at the links listed below. Overall I had a lot of fun at this show and had a lot of great photo opportunities. I got to have a little more exposure in the Houston music and journalism scene as well as more experience with the guys in Far From Home, ahead of their tour that I will be joining as their photographer, and doing videos and vlogs for theirs and my own YouTube channel. So with that being said, let's move on to the concert. First band up was my boys in Far From Home. Far From Home: Band Interview Venue: The White Swan Live - Date: 05/20/2017 Hey guys, welcome to my first band interview blog entry. For this blog I interviewed a local Houston band named Far From Home. They are a pop-punk/easy-core band that is starting to gain a lot of traction in the local music scene. Paramore "After Laughter": A Review Featuring Singles: "Hard Times" and "Told You So" This review is going to be a bit different and a bit longer than my previous two music review blogs. Because I am reviewing an entire album as well as breaking down the two lead singles from that album as well. So if you are prepared and willing this will be a long one, but I promise you that it will be worth it.  After Laughter: Album Review The album I am going to be reviewing is the latest one that just dropped last Friday from a pop-rock band called "Paramore" and the album is titled "After Laughter". Paramore has been around as a band since 2004 and they have released four studio albums prior to "After Laughter" . the bands front-woman Haley Williams even stated before their recording of this album that she thought they would not be making any albums after their self titled "Paramore" album back in 2013...

New Music: A Review #2 "Young And Menace" by. Fall Out Boy Welcome,  to another installment of  my music review blog. In this one I will be reviewing the song "Young And Menace" by. Fall Out Boy. This is another group like, Linkin Park, who have stepped out of the boundaries of the genre they have been in. This has upset the "Hardcore" FOB fans. But as I have stated in my previous blog, musicians grow and go through changes. Likewise, their music will also change. This is not a bad thing, so long as their changes don't affect their overall music. Also changes can mean that the music they produce will reach a broader audience. Such as what has been done with "Heavy" by Linkin Park. And this means the message behind the song can reach more people and possibly help them for the better. New Music: A Review Welcome to my first music review blog post. I hope that you find the opinions and viewpoints that I project both informative, and enlightening. I aim to provide you with info about the track/album, the artists viewpoint on the music, and hopefully some insight as to why they wrote, recorded, and presented the track/album in the way they did. Kiiara The first track I am taking on in my review is none other than the first single off of the new album "One More Light" by Linkin Park. This track has already received a fair bit of negative reception from those who have been longtime fans of the band. They cite things such as the instrumentals and the use of newer "pop" sounds rather than the grungier and heavier than their previous work.
